Limited Physical Access to Carrier-1 due to COVID-19

Dear Carrier-1 Customers,

We need your help during these uncertain times. Effective immediately, we are asking all customers to limit their on-site visits to the Carrier-1 Data Center.

In response to the global pandemic that is COVID-19, Carrier-1 Data Centers remains staffed and committed to supporting all of your mission-critical colocation, network, and business continuity needs.

To ensure the safety and well-being of our technical support staff and to minimize the spread of the Coronavirus to you, other tenants, partners, vendors, employees, and their families, please limit physical access to the building for EMERGENCIES ONLY. We must reduce the risk of illness by reducing foot traffic. Our goal, with your participation, is to remain on-site as an extension of your business; providing 24/7/365 monitoring, maintenance, security, and remote hands assistance as we do today. Most importantly of all, if you are sick, have a temperature, have traveled to a high-risk area or been outside of the country within the last two weeks, we ask that you completely refrain from visiting the facility for any reason.

If you must visit the facility please know that Carrier-1 has restricted all access to shared areas like break areas and conference rooms. Carrier-1 has increased sanitization throughout the facility and placed hand sanitizer at the security check-in/out station. All access badges are being sanitized prior to each use and your photo ID is being placed separately from any other visitors.

Our leadership team is closely monitoring new developments, recommendations by the CDC and meets frequently to assess our risks, operations, and response.

We are working with our vendors on inventory to ensure parts and supplies are delivered and available in a timely manner. We are ensuring that our facility is manned and monitored appropriately by trained personnel. Physical Security remains in place. No temporary office space may be used or reserved until further notice.

We are asking all full-time office tenants to limit their number of employees they have on-site at any given time and to do your part in keeping your areas disinfected.

Limiting the number of visitors inside the building is a critical component in helping us to continue to support your solutions within the facility.

Please let me know if you have any questions. In advance, we greatly appreciate your cooperation!

Stay healthy,
